LifeOS is an iOS application that helps you set daily commitments, records whether you kept them, and generates written coaching based on your own history.
LifeOS operates the Service. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, contact: Privacy enquiries @ (service@mylifeos.club).
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the app, we never sell it, there are no ads and no third-party trackers, and you can export or permanently delete everything from inside the app at any time.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address | Identifies your account; used for sign-in and password reset. |
| Display name (optional) | Personalises the app. You may leave it blank or use any name. |
| Password | Stored only as a bcrypt hash. We cannot read or recover it. |
| Commitments & categories | The goals you set each day — the core of the service. |
| Check-in results | Your Done / Partial / Missed marks, used to calculate your score and streaks. |
| Written reflections | Free-text notes you choose to write about your day. |
| Generated content | Reliability scores, AI coach analyses, detected excuse patterns and streak records. |
| Account timestamps | Sign-up date and trial start, to determine trial eligibility. |
| Subscription status | Whether your Pro entitlement is active. Supplied by Apple/RevenueCat as a yes/no. |
Everything above is data you enter or generate by using the app. There is no hidden collection.
We process your data only to deliver the service you asked for: authenticating you, storing your commitments and check-ins, calculating scores and streaks, producing coaching, and supporting your account.
Under GDPR our legal basis is performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) for core functionality, and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for keeping the service secure and preventing abuse. Where we ever rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
The coaching text is produced by a large language model. To generate it, the relevant portion of your data — your commitments, their categories, your Done/Partial/Missed marks, your written reflections, and previous scores and analyses — is sent to one or more AI processing providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, or self-hosted models) depending on availability for processing.
Your email address and display name are never included in these requests. Your reliability score itself is always computed by our own deterministic formula, never by the model.
Please keep in mind: anything you type into a reflection may be sent for AI processing. Avoid entering information you would not want processed by a third-party model — including other people's personal details, financial or medical information.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We never share it for advertising. We use a small number of processors purely to operate the service:
| Processor | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Railway (cloud hosting provider) | Runs the backend and database that store your account. |
| OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, or self-hosted models | Generates coaching text from the data described in Section 5. |
| RESEND | Delivers password-reset emails. Receives your address only. |
| Apple | Processes subscription purchases and returns entitlement status. |
| RevenueCat | Validates App Store purchase receipts and reports subscription entitlement status. |
We may also disclose data where legally required — for example a valid court order — or to protect the rights and safety of users.
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists, because the app's entire purpose is to compare today against your history. There is no automatic expiry.
When you delete your account, the data is destroyed immediately (see Section 9). We retain only a minimal audit record of the deletion event — your user ID, a partially redacted email, row counts and a timestamp — because accountability rules require us to be able to demonstrate that erasure occurred.
Under GDPR/UK GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the rights to know, to delete, to correct, and to non-discrimination for exercising them. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Two of these are built directly into the app, no email required:
For anything else — rectification, restriction, objection, or a formal request — contact (service@mylifeos.club). We respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Deletion is immediate, permanent, and unrecoverable. It removes:
There is no backup copy, no soft-delete and no grace period. Export first if you want to keep a copy.
What deletion cannot reach: your App Store subscription is held by Apple, not us — cancel it in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions or billing may continue. Password-reset emails already delivered remain with our email provider under their retention schedule.
LifeOS is intended solely for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have, we will delete that account and its data promptly. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at (service@mylifeos.club).
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
Our servers and processors may be located outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Hosting region: (USA).
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and surface a notice in the app. Continuing to use LifeOS after a change means you accept the updated policy.
